Fiji Television has received the permission to broadcast the first round of matches of the 2016 Super Rugby season on Sky Pacific.
This will allow subscribers to watch a total of 9 games this weekend.
Fiji TV Chief Executive Officer, Geoffrey Smith says the initial arrangement with Super Rugby rights holders, Digicel Media Ventures will allow the broadcast of the first round of Super Rugby on Sky Pacific’s Super Channel Live.
The decision to air the first round of matches has been reached as a sign of good faith after a long negotiation.
The Blues play the Highlanders at 6.35 tonight while the Hurricanes play the Brumbies at 8.40pm.
The Crusaders take on the Chiefs at 6.35 tomorrow night while Waratahs play the Reds at 8.40pm.
