Fiji Swimming receives assistance
Vodafone has provided sponsorship towards the overall costs of the team's travel and outfitting, as well as providing free talk time for all members of the team.
The Ministry of Sports today handed over a cheque for $11,000 to Fiji Swimming which will be used to assist with costs of travel and accommodation in Apia.
Fiji Water will supply 40 cases of their unique product for our swimmers while they are in Samoa.
The Fiji Swim Team consists of 2008 Male Swimmer of the Year Douglas Miller, 2009 Male Swimmer of the Year Paul Elaisa, 2009 Breaststroke Swimmer of the Year Meli Malani, 2008 Female Swimmer of the Year Tieri Erasito and 2009 Female Swimmer of the Year Cheyenne Rova, to name a few.
The 8th Oceania Swimming Championships will be held in Apia, Samoa from 21 - 26 June.
