Fiji swimmers are well on track to have a good outing at next year's Mini Pacific Games in Cook Islands.

This is after most of the swimmers performed well at the Pacific Schools Games in Canberra.

Head Coach Jennifer Liew said participating in an event such as Pacific Schools Games showed, Fiji swimmers the benchmarks for success at regional and world meets.

Liew said with an eye on competing well at the World Championships in Rome next year, the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in 2010 and especially the Mini Pacific Games in Cook Islands, Fiji's squad of up and coming swimmers are being well prepared.
