Good news for boxing fans in the country as the Fiji Sports Council is now an official boxing promoter.
Boxing Commission of Fiji Director Malakai Veisamasama confirmed that the sports council's application has been approved.
Veisamasama added that most promoters in Fiji are based in the Western division but now the Eastern fans will witness some great boxing action this year.
The Boxing Commission of Fiji have also opened an office in Nadi which will be managed by board member of Boxing Commission Usman Ali Lale.
