Fiji Soccer team hoping to qualify for semis against All Whites

The Vodafone Fiji Soccer Team will have to beat Vanuatu in their final match of the 2016 OFC Nations Cup and hopes New Zealand beat Solomon Islands.

If this happens, Fiji will qualify for the semi‑finals with the All Whites.

Fiji beat Solomon Islands 1‑0 on Tuesday night but lost to New Zealand 3‑1 in their first game.

New Zealand is leading group B with 6 points and are favourites to qualify for the semi‑final.

Fiji and Solomon Islands both have 3 points while Vanuatu has no points.

Tahiti is leading Group A with 3 points, New Caledonia and Papua New Guinea both have one point each while Samoa has no points.

Fiji will now take on Vanuatu at 6pm Saturday.
