The Fiji soccer team must beat Vanuatu on Saturday in the World Cup qualifying round to better their world rankings.

They currently lie in 146th place but a win this weekend will see them move two to three places up.

Team coach Carlos Buzetti said their aim is to be ranked in the top 130 countries and to achieve that goal they must beat Vanuatu in their home and away matches and also beat New Zealand later this year.

Meanwhile, Vodafone Labasa soccer team midfielder, Henry Dyer has been called into the National soccer squad.

Dyer will replace his team mate Alvin Avinesh in the squad who is in Australia at the moment.

The Fiji/Vanuatu match will kick off on Saturday 3pm at Govind Park in Ba.
