Fiji Showcase open
Tickets costing $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for children, gives people the chance to win a trip overseas, the opportunity to see 5 international entertainers and local bands as well as getting to shop for a variety of goods at 130 booths.
And for the first time, the public will be able to experience how it feels to be inside a balloon when they head down to the Fiji Showcase 2009.
The Magical Daredevil Show, which starts at 1pm, will see as many as 18 people get inside a 6 foot balloon, the brainchild of Canadian James Johnson who said this trip to Fiji is special for him since it is his first time to the Pacific.
James will also take to the Digicel entertainment stage at 4.30 this afternoon and 8 in the evening.
Other international entertainment sees The Great Gondos, where people will see Roberta squeeze herself into a box and twist herself into odd positions and they will take to the stage at 1 pm and at 8 this evening.
The Mr Fungus mime show will be at 2.30pm and at 6.30pm on the Digicel Entertainment stage.
For adults to be able to get into the 9 day event, the tickets cost $3.50 while for those children 3 years and above will cost $2.50.
