Fiji Visitors Bureau Chairman Patrick Wong said Fiji should be investor friendly and for the tourism industry to become a billion dollar industry all problems need to be sorted out.
Wong's comment came after an incident where landowners from Vunaniu, Serua erected a roadblock claiming that the road was running through their village and demanded compensation from the owner of Matanivusi Beach Eco Resort.
Wong said everyone benefits from tourism industry and has urged authorities to seriously look into such issues.
He also said there are plans to expand the tourism industry.
