Fiji Set to Take on Defending Champs
Speaking to Village sports, Manager Opetaia Ravai said Coach Josateki Savou has highlighted a few areas the side will have to improve on against Samoa.
While the side's defence improved against England, Ravai believes they will have to maintain it against a very physical Samoan team.
For Samoa, Coach Rudi Moors maintains they are the defending champion and will rely a lot on the crowd support to beat Fiji.
And overwhelming favorites, New Zealand coach Gordon Tietjens believes that when it comes to the play-offs, the players will need to lift their standard as mistakes will be costly.
Today's quarter finals will see at 1.33pm New Zealand taking on Wales, at 1.55pm Scotland plays Australia, South Africa faces Tonga at 2.17pm and in the last quarter final at 2.39pm Fiji will be up against Samoa.
The first semi-final will start at 5.35pm while the second semi-final is at 6pm.
The 2008 Wellington 7's final is at 8 o’clock tonight.
