The Fiji Police Force should be one of the priorities come the National Budget announcement this Friday.
These are the sentiments of the Fiji Human Rights Commissioner and Fiji Women's Crisis Centre Coordinator, Shameema Ali who said that while the Interim Government's efforts should be towards moving the country to democratic elections, one of the areas that needs alot of money to improve its services, is the Fiji Police Force.
Ali also said that people oriented services need to be considered a priority for the National Budget 2008 like Education, Health and Social Welfare.
The National Budget 2008 address will be delivered by the Interim Minister for Finance, Mahendra Chaudhry at the Tradewinds Convention Centre in Lami at 11am on Friday.
