The new Police Commissioner Bernadus Groenewald believes Fiji’s Police Force can be one of the best in the world through team work.
He made the comments after he was traditionally welcomed at the Fiji Police Academy Gymnasium.
Groenewald said he and his wife are humbled by the traditional welcome and gifts.
Before this ceremony the new Police Commissioner inspected the guard of honour and was given a brief overview of the Fiji Police Force.
Groenewald who is from South Africa was appointed by the government to lead the Fiji Police Force for two years.
Meanwhile, Ravi Narayan is now holding the Deputy Police Commissioner’s post in the Force.
