The Fiji Pearls will start their Netball World Cup campaign against Wales in Sydney later this morning.
Fiji is going into the tournament with a lot of confidence after being crowned Pacific Champion at the recent Pacific Games in PNG.
Fiji is ranked seventh in the world which is one place above Wales.
It is currently two wins each in the four games played between Fiji and Wales at the World Cup, with Wales winning in their last match in Singapore four years ago 62-47.
Coach, Kate Carpenter says Wales and Fiji are equally matched.
Carpenter is expected to start the same group of players that played against the Silver Ferns last month.
The Fiji Pearls will play Wales at 11.05am today.
Fiji will then face Uganda at 1.20pm tomorrow before taking on Zambia at 5.20pm Sunday.
The Qualifying Round Matches will start from next Monday.
