A lot is at stake for the Fiji Pearls when they defend their Pacific Netball Series title in the Cook Islands next month.
After their successful outing in the Digicel Tri Series Plus One Championship two weeks ago the side will now try to qualify for the World championship next year.
Fiji Pearls shooter Maria Lutua said this is an important tournament for them.
Lutua added she is aiming to improve her shooting, court balance and fitness before the next championship.
The Pacific Netball Series will be held in the Cook Islands from the 2nd till the 7th of next month.
