The Fiji Pearls have thrashed Sri Lanka 77-31 in their first Qualification Round match of the Netball World Cup last night.
Fiji missed out on a spot in the main qualification round and is now taking part in the tier two competition with Samoa, Zambia, Trindad and Tobago, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Barbados and Scotland.
Fiji play Barbados at 2.20pm today.
In the tier one qualification round matches last night, New Zealand beat Jamaica 55-48 while Australia beat England 51-41.
