Fiji Pearls Captain Mere Neiliko Rabuka knows what is at stake when they will take on the Silver Ferns at the opening match of the Oceania Tri Series later this month.
Rabuka said the girls have been reminded to focus on the task at hand as this is a lifetime opportunity for them to create history at their home soil.
Rabuka added that coach Kate Carpenter has been pushing them in training and with the mixture of young and experience players the side is hoping to build a formidable combination to play in the Oceania Tri Series.
The Fiji Pearls will take on New Zealand in their opening match on the 19th of this month at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
