With 18 days to go for the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea, the Fiji Pearls say they are ready for the challenge as they are set to travel.

President Wainikiti Bogidrau says they are the first team to pay their levy and the girls are ready for battle in PNG.

Bogidrau says the team will leave for PNG on a commercial flight on the 11th of next month since their first match against Vanuatu will be on July 13th.

Meanwhile, Kasabias Limited today presented a $5,000 cheque to the Fiji Pearls to assist in their preparation for their New Zealand tour and the World Cup.

The Pacific Games will be held from the 4th to the 18th of next month in Papua New Guinea.
