The Fiji Pearls have missed out on a spot in the main qualification round of the Netball World Cup.
Wales and Uganda were involved in the standout match of the World Cup yesterday, as Wales produced a wonderful final quarter to edge out their African opponents 49‑47, finishing at the top of Pool D with a perfect group‑stage record.
With the group stages now complete, the teams qualifying for the first eight have been confirmed.
In the main qualification round, South Africa will take on Wales at 2.20pm today while Uganda will play Malawi at 4.20pm today.
The NZ Silver Ferns will take on Jamaica at 8.20 tonight while Australia will take on England at 10.20 tonight.
The second eight sees the Fiji Pearls fighting for the minor positions with Samoa, Zambia, Trindad and Tobago, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Barbados and Scotland.
Fiji will take on Sri Lanka at 4.20pm today in their first Qualification Round match.
