Samoa has beaten the Fiji Pearls 54-51 in the Placing Round of the 2015 Netball World Cup in Sydney.

The Fiji Pearls were penalized 43 times for contact and 14 times for obstruction.

In the third quarter, wing attack Maria Lutua was replaced by Nina Cirikisuva while outstanding young goalkeeper Episake Kahatoka was replaced in the fourth quarter with Captain Mere Rabuka.

In one other placing round match, Trinidad & Tobago beat Scotland 57-56 and Barbados defeated Singapore 56-39.
