Fiji Pearls coach admits their disadvantage on match fitness

Fiji Peals coach Kate Carpenter said they have a disadvantage on match fitness as they prepare for the Oceania Netball Tri-Series next week.

The Fiji Pearls last played an international match in June last year, Samoa played in the Nations Cup last month while the Silver Ferns played against Australia in October last year.

Carpenter said they have met the international bench mark for fitness and are working on their best combination.

The Oceania Netball Tri-Series will start next Monday with the Fiji Pearls taking on the Silver Ferns in the opening match at the Vodafone Arena.
