The Fiji Pearls have continued their preparation with an aim to deliver a good performance against the Silver Ferns next month.
Netball Fiji President Wainikiti Bogidrau said hosting the Silver Ferns is another milestone achievement for the sport in the country and the girls have to stand up for the challenge and deliver for their fans at home.
Bogidrau added the players have been in training camps with coach Kate Carpenter and they have been reminded of the task ahead of them.
Bogidrau said that they will select the best players available to take on the Silver Ferns as this will be a great chance of creating history if they put up a good performance against New Zealand.
Players who are expected to feature for Fiji include, Matila Waqanidrola, Maria Lutua, Vaiti Waqatabu, Unaisi Rauluni, Nina Cirikisuva and Afa Rusivakula.
Meanwhile, under the International Netball Federation World Rankings based on matches up to 19th September this year Fiji is currently ranked seventh in the world while New Zealand is ranked 2nd.
The Oceania Tri Series will be held from the 19th to the 22nd of January next year.
