Unlike the Fiji Men's Triples, the Pairs team lost out to Scotland in the quarter-final stages, by 9 bowls to 20.
New Zealand went on to win the Pairs competition after they beat Scotland in the finals by 18 bowls to 13 to take home the gold medal.
The competition ends in Australia on Thursday.
