Fiji Out of Finals of Pune Youth Games
Fiji's Paulini Korowaqa finished in last place in the 400 meters girls semi-final while Isoa Me and Eroni Cagi also failed to reach the finals.
In the 100 metres Mataiasi Savou missed the final after he finished in 4th place while Banuve Tabakaucoro was placed 5th.
ACS sprinter, Seleima Balevesi also had a disappointing outing as she did not qualify for the finals of the 100 metres finishing in 7th place.
None of the athletes who qualified for the semi-finals was able to reach the finals.
Tonight Paulini Korowaqa and Eroni Cagi will take part in the 200 metres heats.
Fiji still has 1 gold medal in the overall medal tally and is in 9th place while host India leads with 6 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.
