The Australian High Commission has rejected the visas of 3 members of the Fiji Netball team preparing for a tour to Australia this weekend.

This has been confirmed by the team manager, Asenaca Waqanivavalagi, who confirmed the 3 include assistant coach Unaisi Rokoura, the team physio Akeneta Bola and team member Bernadette Daurewa.

Waqanivavalagi added that the trio's visas have been rejected because they have military connections.

However she added that no replacements will be made as the team will be joined by Mere Rabuka and Simone Nalatu in Australia while Waqanivavalagi and Gabrielle Qoro will manage the team.

The National Netball side will leave our shores at 9am Sunday and will play warm-up matches against League teams in Sydney as a build up to the World Netball Championships in Singapore in July.
