The Fiji Netball team kick started their games at the Pacific Cup Series on a high note after they beat Samoa 50-45 at the Rarotonga Netball Center yesterday afternoon.

In the other game, hosts Cook Islands beat PNG 59-57.

Coach, Unaisi Rokoura said she is happy with the win and attributed it to the hard work that the girls have been doing all this time.

Rokoura also thanked the support of the Fijian community in Rarotonga who turned out in numbers.

Fiji faces the host country Cook Islands in their next pool match at 4:45pm today and their last game is against Papua New Guinea at 12pm tomorrow.
