Pio Tuwai again showed why he is a key man in the Vodafone Fiji 7s team after scoring a try and setting up another four tries as Fiji beat Kenya 43-19 in the Japan 7s quarterfinals and they will now meet New Zealand in the cup semifinals.

Tuwai put up another great performance with his crafty play setting up two tries for Samisoni Viriviri, one for Setefano Cakau and Donasio Ratubuli.

Newcomer Vatemo Ravouvou also scored for Fiji while Namosi flyer Leo Naikasau also touched down on the stroke of full-time.

Kenya scored two tries from broken play and looked promising at times but Fiji’s second half performance and Tuwai's skills proved to be the difference.

The two sides were locked at 12-all at half time.

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will now meet New Zealand at 5:08pm after the All Blacks beat Australia 21-12 in the first quarterfinal.

In the second semifinal England will play South Africa.

Looking at the other quarterfinal results England defeated Canada 14-10 and South Africa beat USA 17-12.

The cup final will start at 7:43pm.
