Ulaiasi Lawavou scored the Digicel Fiji 7s team's first try after some scrappy play in the second minute of the first half.
Joji Ragamate touched down for Fiji on the stroke of half time with an individual touch of brilliance while Ilai Tinai redeemed himself with a try after coming back from the sin bin.
The national team's defense again stood out as the South African play makers Cecil Africa and Branco du Preez were closely monitored by captain Lepani Botia, Leone Tabuarua and Ulaiasi Lawavou.
Replacement players Manueli Laqai, Apisalome Waqatabu and Samisoni Viriviri also made an impact when they came in.
Fiji defeated Samoa 19-7 in the quarter finals putting up a very courageous defensive game.
In the Shield final later tonight Scotland will play the USA.
Meanwhile New Zealand had to work extra hard to beat Kenya in the second semifinal 15-5.
Fiji will play New Zealand in the final at 9:02pm.
In the Shield final Scotland will play USA and in the Bowl final England will battle Spain while France and Argentina will meet in the Plate final.
