It is time to rebuild homes or repair the houses badly affected after Tropical Cyclone Winston.
The Fiji Muslim League has now started providing housing assistance to the people severely affected after the cyclone.
Vice President, Taabish Akbar says they have started giving out starter packs to build 10 feet by 12 feet houses.
Akbar says these are basic homes and would ensure that people have roofs over their heads.
He says Muslim Aid of Australia together with Human Care and Fiji Muslim League distributed 1,600 food ration packs in Rakiraki, Tavua and Ba last week.
Akbar says their assessment on the ground is that many groups are distributing ration packs.
The Fiji Muslim League has turned it's attention to providing building materials.
They have assisted 120 families so far.
Akbar says they will continue with this major initiative as many people need shelter.
Akbar says the Fiji Muslim League also decided today to provide free lunches to all students in their schools. This is only for the cyclone affected areas.
Those needing housing assistance should contact the Fiji Muslim League.
