The Fiji Music Fest 2008 is set to kick off this hour.
The event which brings together local artists and dance groups has seen the introduction of groups from New Caledonia.
The Alliance Francaise sponsored event saw dancers and singers performing in different locations throughout the capital city will today be held at the Ratu Sukuna Park where the final of the FMF VTY Fijian Idol to be held.
The winner will walk away with $500 in prize money.
