The Fiji Men’s and Mix Netball Association received a major boost today as the National Sports Commission donated $5000 to assist in the Fiji Men’s and Mix Netball Championship next week.
Receiving the donation today was Joe Grey the newly elected Peresident of the Fiji Men’s and Mix Netball Association.
Grey said the donation ism a timely boost for the tournament and the money will be used to cater for some of the operational costs.
He added the tournament will also see some of the big rugby teams taking part with the likes of Navy, Wardens, Sabeto, the Western Marine 7s team and USP rugby club.
Meanwhile, Sports Commission Chairman Peter Mazey said they will continue to support the development of minor sports in the country.
The Fiji Men’s and Mix Netball Championship kicks off next Friday in Suva.
