The BLK Fiji Men and Women Under 19 Basketball sides both lost their games in the FIBA USP Oceania U19 Championships yesterday.
The mens team lost 46-61 to Tahiti while the women’s team went down to the Solomon Islands 58-63.
At 4pm today the Fiji Men’s team will face New Zealand that thrashed Papua New Guinea 85-29 and Tahiti 126-13.
The Fiji Men’s side will now have to beat New Zealand and hope for PNG and Tahiti to lose their third game if they want a spot in the semifinals.
The Women’s side will take on Tahiti at 8 tonight.
