The Chairman of the Fiji Media Council resigned from his position today in the Council's meeting.
Daryl Tarte said the Vice Chairman of the Council Dhijendra Singh of Ba is now the Acting Chairman until a Chairman is appointed.
He said he decided to resign after holding the position for 13 LONG YEARS.
Tarte said measures have been put in place to identify a suitable person for the Chairman's position.
