The Fiji Lawn Bowls team’s section manager Adi Taraivosa Kalim has said they will face a difficult task at the Pacific Games as they will need to adjust to the artificial turf in PNG.
Kalim said most of the players have never played on an artificial turf which would be a huge task for them.
She said they will be able to adjust and perform well.
Kalim added they are aiming to win 3 gold medals at this year’s Pacific Games.
The team last won 3 gold medals at the Pacific Games in 2008.
The Pacific Games will be held on the 4th to the 18th of next month.
