That is the assurance from the Interim Minister for Defence and Immigration, Ratu Epeli Ganilau after launching the Fiji Day celebrations 2008. Defence Minister said regardless of the situation in the Fiji Islands, we are an amazing society with its remarkable people.
The theme this Friday is "Diverse Harmony for a new Fiji" and celebrations start with a march from the Flea Market to Albert park in Suva. There will also be celebrations in Levuka, Lautoka, Labasa and the island of Rotuma.
