Over 6,000 Class 6 students will know today if they have passed their Fiji Intermediate Examination (FIE) as results have been released by the Education Ministry.

The Education Ministry said the results will be at the various District Offices and the head teachers are to pick them up for distribution.

Draiba Fijian Primary School in Suva and Saint Mary's Primary School in Labasa have revealed that students are already lining up to pick results, with their office flooded with calls from parents.

A total of 6,257 Class 6 students in 268 schools around the country sat for the Fiji Intermediate Exam in July this year.

This is the last year students will sit for the FIE.
