Fiji has improved their ranking with regards to media freedom after a survey conducted by "Reporters without Borders" showed that Fiji is ranked in the top 100 out of the 173 countries analysed.

Ranked 107 last year, Fiji is now 79 while Tonga also moved up the list to 82 compared to 119 last year.

According to the report, Australia's rankings is the same as it was last year and this puts it behind New Zealand, who are ranked 7th, while the United Kingdom is ranked 23rd and Canada 13th.
