The Fiji Hoteliers Association has confirmed that there was an increase in hotel bookings last month.
President Dixon Seeto confirms many tourists are now doing last minute bookings which resulted in the increase, making it difficult to forecast tourist numbers.
Meanwhile, Seeto still believes that there is still a great need to promote Fiji, to boost tourist numbers.
