The Fiji Hockey Federation will field both the men's and women's team in the World Hockey Fest in Australia next July.
Ranked 63rd in the women’s division, Fiji is one of the countries from 13 that got the nod to participate.
Development officer Tai Smith said both men’s and women’s teams will compete against the best in the world.
Smith said the selection criterion has changed now so it's going to be quite easy for coaches to select both the Fiji teams.
