The new Interim Public Enterprise Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said clear policy directions would be set by his ministry regarding the functions of the Fiji Hardwood Corporation.
Sayed-Khaiyum said the industry has a lot of potential in terms of Fiji's economy and the financial benefits will also flow down to the landowners.
Meanwhile Sayed-Khaiyum said he will not comment on the restructure at Government Supplies Department although he has been briefed by the officials.
