The Fiji Games which was planned to be held in May has now been shifted to June.

Games chairperson Tomi Finau said this year's games was set for May 28th to 30th but with no public holiday on the 28th, they have no choice but to hold it from June 12th to the 14th.

This is after Government took out the Ratu Sukuna Day from its public holiday calendar.

Finau also highlighted that most of the sports in the Fiji Games will be played in Suva while Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Surfing and Weightlifting will be held in Lautoka, Nadi, Sigatoka and Levuka.
