The Fiji Football Association will hold its special congress next Sunday to endorse the motion of having only eight teams in the Super premier National Football League from next season.

The motion to have eight teams in the top division came up in Fiji FA's AGM last year and Fiji FA Chief Executive, Bob Kumar said they will go forward with this.

Also on the agenda will be discussions in relation to the Pacific Cup where four football teams from Fiji went to New Zealand last year.
Kumar said they will set out new criteria for teams to get selected for the tournament.
