Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Bob Kumar has confirmed that the 2010 Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament will now be played over two weekends.

Kumar said in view of the Government’s decision to do away with the Ratu Sukuna day public holiday on Friday 28th May 2010, it has become necessary to play the Vodafone Fiji FACT over 2 weekends.

The first round of matches will be played from 22-23 May and the tournament proper starts four days later at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

He said the first round of matches will be played a week prior at different venues which will be decided on the pools and also depending on availability of grounds and the tournament proper will commence on Thursday 27th May 2010 at Churchill Park, Lautoka.

Southern Forest Navua is the defending champion of the Fiji FACT tournament.
