Defending champions of the Vodafone Fiji Fact Rewa has been drawn in a relatively tough pool for this year’s tournament.
Rewa has been pooled with National Soccer League leaders Suva, Savusavu, Lautoka and Nadi.
Pool 2 has IDC champions Labasa, Nadroga, Navua, Tavua and Ba.
Rewa coach Marika Rodu said the team that won last year is not the same as top goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau who has led Rewa for a number of years will be missed this time around.
Sponsors of the tournament Vodafone Fiji has also increased the sponsorship amount from $50,000 to $60,000.
The winner of the tournament will walk away with $15,000 and the runner-up will get $4,000.
The first round of the Vodafone Fiji Fact will be played on the 6th of next month at Churchill Park while the tournament officially will be played from the 10th to 13th of next month at Ratu Cakobau Park.
