Unplayable ground conditions have forced all Vodafone Fiji FACT matches today to be called off.

Fiji FA CEO Bob Kumar said the board of control made the decision after assessing Ratu Cakobau Park in the last hour and they will make another decision tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile, earlier today games at the Vodafone Fiji FACT at Ratu Cakobau Park ended at about midnight last night and concerns are now being raised on how soccer standards can be raised if players have to play their games past their bedtime and in unplayable ground conditions.

The last game between Suva and Rewa ended at 11.45pm.

Rewa coach Manoj Kumar said they did not train to play late at night.

Defending champion, Rewa lost to Suva by 1-0.

Lautoka Soccer Association President, Shalen Prasad said they were told to take the field against Savusavu despite unplayable conditions.

He said this was a major risk for the players.

Prasad said Ratu Cakobau Park is still in unplayable condition and they do not want to take the field against Suva this afternoon.

However, Prasad claims that Acting Fiji FA President, Sheikh Ibrahim has told them that the game will be awarded to Suva, and Lautoka will be fined $5,000 if they do not play today.

We are still trying to get comments from Ibrahim about this issue.

Meanwhile, Fiji Football Association Chief Executive, Bob Kumar said they had to delay the games last night to make the decision on whether the ground was in playable condition.
