Fiji Football Association will kick off its new season one month earlier in 2010.

The CVC series previously started in February but in 2010 it will start in January because of the new format.

Navua, Lautoka and Ba will compete in the CVC series next year and will play on a home and away basis before the winner is decided.

Chief Executive Bob Kumar also confirmed the National League Soccer competition will start in February.

Kumar said the first major tournament of the year has also been brought forward because of the World Cup soccer tournament that will be held in June in South Africa.

The Fiji Fact will be held in May, the BOG will be played during July and August while the IDC is scheduled for October.

Kumar said the 2010 season will be more challenging then what they have experienced in 2009.
