Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel confirms that the Fiji FA will release a statement later today after serious allegations were levelled against Fiji Football Coach Christophe Gamel.
Patel has confirmed to Fijivillage that the Fiji FA has been conducting it’s own investigation.
He has made an assurance that a statement will be released today.
Some youth players had alleged that Gamel had physically assaulted them in Ba after the drug test results came out. There are also allegations of bullying.
The youth players are claiming that they did not report the matter themselves because they were worried about their football career.
Ba Football Association filed the official complaint after hearing about the serious allegations. Ba Football wants the coach sacked if the allegations are true.
Fijivillage has contacted Gamel and asked him for an interview regarding the allegations made against him and to give his side of the story. Gamel says he will speak to us when he can.
