The Fiji Football Association still has a sitting Vice President who is convicted and imprisoned for the defilement of a class eight student.

We have asked Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel why the imprisoned Northern Fiji FA Vice President, Dewan Chand who is serving a four year sentence is still allowed to occupy the senior post.

Patel was also questioned about what image the Fiji FA is portraying by allowing Chand to stay on.

Patel said Chand will be given the chance to wait for his appeal while at the same time he will lose his seat if he misses three consecutive board meetings.
