Fiji FA League Board may opt for mid-week games in the National Soccer League competition after three games were called off on the weekend because of bad ground condition and unfavorable weather.

Ba versus Navua match was called off at Thompson Park yesterday after 45 minutes of play after heavy rain, while Nasinu versus Suva and Nasinu versus Under 20 match was earlier postponed due to poor ground conditions at the tfl stadium.

League Board Secretary Jainen Sukhu said they will now have to set another suitable date and venue for the midweek games so that the other scheduled matches on the weekends are not disrupted.

He said the postponed games will be completed before the Fiji Fact.

Meanwhile, Lautoka remains on top of the National League points standings with 18 points, while Ba lies in second place with 12 points and Labasa is third with 11 points.

The two games played over the weekend, saw Rewa thrash Tavua 4-0 and Nadi beat Nadroga 2-1.
