The Fiji Football Association made a loss of $66,850 for the financial year ending June 2007.

This is a big change from the $179,821 profit made last year.

The Fiji Fact which raked in $322,767 last year only managed $190,066 this year. However the Battle of the Giants tournament income stood at $474,080 for this year compared to $233,470 last year while IDC raked in $320,332 last year.

The huge loss can also be attributed to the National soccer team's commitments this year. $97,293 was spent on the Fiji team's commitments this year compared to $32,867 spent last year.

Meanwhile, the 2007 Courts Homecentres IDC will get underway at the Post Fiji Stadium this afternoon.

Soccer fans will be get to watch four pool games with the official opening pool game at 5pm when Navua takes on Lautoka and a live commentary can be heard on our sister station, Radio Sargam.

At 6.15pm defending champion Ba faces Tavua while the next two commentaries are at 7.30pm when Labasa faces Rewa and at 8.45pm when host Suva plays Nadi.
