Fiji FA accepts Lautoka request
Fiji FA chief executive Bob Kumar said Lautoka's case is a serious one where more than half of the team has been suspended.
Samuela Kautoga, Alifereti Baleiloa, Osea Vakatalesau, Ilaitia Tuilau, Niumaia Tagi, Apisai Smith, Elvin Prasad, Semesa Nakosia, Malakai Waqa, Valerio Nawatu, Leone Vurukania, Jone Vono Jnr, Arvindra Naidu, Marika Madigi, Krishna Sami and Shameel Rao have been suspended from all levels of soccer till the 23rd of this month.
Lautoka Soccer president Shalendra Prasad claimed the 16 players did not turn up for fitness test on Saturday morning and this sort of attitude will not be tolerated.
He added the Lautoka Soccer Association is calling a council meeting tonight where they will decide which players will represent Blues in the BOG.
Lautoka plays its first match against Nasinu this Sunday at the TFL National Stadium in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament.
