The Fiji Football Association will have their first Council Meeting on February 1st to allow for all its members to be briefed on strategic measures for all districts for the Year 2009.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Fiji FA President Doctor Samshu Dean Sahu Khan said they have called the meeting early as a lot of complaints have come in past that certain districts do not complete their club competition come the end of the year.

Complaints have also been received that in some districts only one or two officials are running the show without the rest of the club members’ involvement.

Sahu Khan added that to deal with the problem, Fiji FA will set up a Special Football Committee that will monitor the club's every quarter of the year and the districts will have to give a report on their club competitions and of the meetings they are holding.
